Whenever you are getting in contact with us (Email, contact form on our website, event registration), the data you provided will be stored to process your request.
The following details might be stored (if made available by you): Salutation, first name, last name, address, email, phone, company, request details. The deletion of the data is handled depending on the nature of your request. The data processing takes place according to Art. 6 para. 1(a,b) of the GDPR.
If you are a customer of BTC and you’ve decided to share your email address with us, this email address can be used to send you our Newsletter. In addition, we also provide newsletter signup forms on our website.
For a newsletter registration, a valid email address is needed. To confirm that a newsletter subscription has been performed by the actual owner of the address, we are using a “double-opt-in” mechanism. Our newsletter and event invitations are based on products and services by Newsletter2Go GmbH, Köpenicker Str. 126, 10179 Berlin, Germany which are used to create, send and manage our newsletters. Newsletter2Go is a German provide and member of the „Certified Senders Alliance”. The data needed to send the newsletters are stored on a server at Newsletter2Go which is password protected and only accessible to employees of BTC. The terms and conditions of Newsletter2Go are the basis of the contract between Newsletter2Go and BTC and can be found here: https://www.newsletter2go.de/agb. Newsletter2Go analyses the newsletter distribution to ensure that the newsletter was correctly distributed. The recorded data will not be shared with 3rd parties. You have the right to unsubscribe from our newsletter at any time via the corresponding link which is part of each newsletter.
